Sattva
is one of three fundamental states of mind. It represents purity, balance, and serenity and creates a sense of clarity and inner harmony. When we are in a state of sattva, we feel aligned with our highest nature.
Spending time in nature is a powerful way to increase sattva. Imagine sitting by a tree-shaded creek, surrounded by ferns, with a hummingbird nearby. The gentle flow of water, the peaceful environment, and the connection to the natural world all help cultivate calm, balance, and inner peace—qualities at the heart of sattva.

How you live your life: In our first session, we’ll take an in-depth look at your daily routine. The more details you provide, the clearer the picture we can form of how your current state has developed over time.
Prakrti (your original state, or constitution): Through our discussion, we’ll uncover your unique blend of doshas, or elemental energies, and how they shape who you are at your core.
Vikruti (your current imbalance): Imbalances arise when we stray from our original state. This can happen through everyday actions that may be beneficial for some but cause disruption for others, leading to physical or mental distress.
Ahara (Diet): Some foods that are considered "healthy" can actually contribute to imbalances, depending on one's constitution. We’ll identify which foods may be causing disruption and suggest nourishing substitutes that better align with your unique needs.
Vihara (Lifestyle): It’s not just what we do or eat, but also when and how we do it. We’ll explore practices that align with natural cycles and discover ways to optimize your daily habits for greater balance and well-being.
Ausada (Herbal support): Herbal remedies, medicated oils, teas, and spices can offer vital support. When used correctly, and for the right duration, they can enhance your healing journey and accelerate your path to restored balance.
I’d love to connect and explore how Ayurveda can support your unique health journey.
